BIOCLIMATIC OFFICE for Cambodian SENATE

T3 ARCHITECTS designed the new sustainable Office of Parliamentary Institute of Cambodia (PIC) inside the Cambodian Senate in Phnom Penh. The project was challenging for 2 main different reasons: first, the office building is located between 2 buildings of the famous Khmer architect Vann Molyvann so T3 had to propose a design inspired by Molyvann heritage as well as a specific architecture from 21 century… Second was to propose a very efficient design in terms of energy saving and comfort for customers by using a double ventilated roof, sun protection (green wall along facade and horizontal louvers in front of the windows). T3 was successful as it seems the building is there since several years already which means to it is very well integrated to the existing context.
